The spirit of the rules comes down to 3 simple things:
respect the building and equipment
respect the staff
respect the other members
Disrespect will be cause for discipline, whether it is a violation of a written rule below or not.
1. You must sign in and sign out.
2. No swearing or vulgar language.
3. No alcohol, drugs, smoking or other tobacco products in or near the Center (within walking distance.) If you arrive at the Center appearing to have used any of these, you will be asked to leave.
4. No weapons, fighting, violence or bullying.
5. No hanging out in the parking lot or on the sidewalk in front of the Center. You may hang out inside the fenced area on the court side of the building.
6. At closing time, if you sign out, or if you are asked to leave, you must leave the entire premises. You may not loiter (hang around) in front of the property or at the Egglefield Ford lots. This includes skateboarding, biking, longboarding, etc.
7. If you sign out equipment, you must sign it back in. If equipment is damaged, you will need to replace it before suspension will be lifted.
8. No throwing things inside the building or at anyone. Snowballs are not permitted anywhere.
9. Members may bring in single serving sizes of food or drink. Staff may require larger quantities to be stored in the kitchen until the member leaves the Social Center. Food must stay in the kitchen/table areas.
