About the event
Sand River is a small farm striving to feed its neighbors. Let's come together and see what grows there! We will garden, eat, and sing with some of the helpful humans, cows, and sheep who love this place. Â Families will pick food, prepare and eat a farm dinner! Â The Social Center event at Sand River Farm is geared towards kids and teens, but adults will enjoy learning about this unique community farm run by volunteers. The visit takes place on a regular volunteer work day and we will be joining a crew of regular farm volunteers.
There will be activities for young kids to get their wiggles out, learn, and reflect.
The visit is free but PLEASE REGISTER BY FRIDAY, OCT 4 so we know we have a minimum number of people!
WE WILL MEET AT THE FARM at 1:15pm.  Dinner is served around 5pm (healthy snacks included in between!).…
