Who doesn’t love a fort? Our November event for children is shelter-building! Live Music at Deer's Head Inn to benefit purchase of Teen Rec Van!

On Saturday, November 1, the Deer's Head Inn and Elizabethtown Social Center are partnering on a Novemberfest - a live music fundraiser to buy a van for the Social Center's free afterschool Teen Rec program. The Deer's Head has generously offered to split proceeds from the event with the Social Center! Did you know? Northwaters Canoe Camp supports Teen Rec Outdoor Adventure!

A very big thank you to Northwaters Canoe Camp for the loan of a canoe trailer for our Teen Rec trip to Lincoln Pond last weekend. The teens had a great time. Some learned that steering on flat water isn’t as easy as it looks! Neither is communicating with your paddling partner. But fun was had by all, with lunch on an island.
