Introduction to Italic Calligraphy with Dena Bellows - DB Lettering
Discover the beauty and versatility of Italic Calligraphy, a 16th-century hand with modern adaptations. This style can be used for a wide range of applications, including cards, certificates, signs, envelopes, and more.
Over two sessions (4 total hours / 2 hours per session), students will use double-edged markers (large and small nib sizes) to learn the lowercase alphabet.
Tools and materials will be provided, and students will explore samples by the artist along with insights into the many uses of hand lettering.
Class size is limited to 8 students. Please register ahead of time. There is potential for continued study in future sessions.
Cost: $48 for the two classes ($24 per class)
