Writers Group

The Elizabethtown Social Center sponsors the Writers Group, which is open to anyone looking for a warm, welcoming environment in which to expand their craft. It has a diverse membership ranging from first time writers to published authors. At meetings, members have the opportunity to share their work and receive supportive, caring, and constructive critique.

The group is open to any original writing including short stories, plays, poems, memoirs, books, and articles. Every effort is made to allow each person time to read their piece and receive both spoken and written feedback.

The Writers Group members strive to support other writers and to improve their own work. If you already are, or if you want to be a writer, please join us for one of our meetings.

For more information, contact Laurie House, Arts and Outreach Coordinator at the Elizabethtown Social Center, at laurie@elizabethtownsocialcenter.org, or Gerry Bradley, Writers Group member, at gerrymbradley@hotmail.com.

“Some of us have been published, some dream of being published, and some just write for fun.”
