About the event
Who doesn't love to build a fort? Especially just as the weather is getting cooler!
Outdoor Educator and wilderness guide Lucy Misarski leads kids and teens in building shelters from natural materials found along the Social Center's wild area along the river. Groups will be divided into compatible ages.
Kids with an artistic bent may also create leaf & bark rubbings that capture the beautiful textures & patterns of nature.
Roast snacks on a fire! We'll bring a few chairs for parents and a pop-up tent in case of rain.
