Crafting Christmas Joy with Santa & Friends

There’s a special kind of magic in the air when December arrives, the kind that makes kids’ eyes light up with excitement and brings a warm smile to every grown-up’s face. This year, we’re turning that magic into a festive holiday party filled with fun, creativity, and plenty of Christmas cheer!

On Saturday, December 13th, the Elizabethtown Social Center will transform into a festive wonderland straight from Santa’s Village. That’s right!! Santa and Mrs. Claus themselves are stopping by to spend the afternoon with us! Families can visit with them, share holiday wishes, and take home a keepsake photo courtesy of Sam’s Photography ADK. It’s the perfect chance to capture magical childhood smiles... or silly faces, which are just as memorable! We’re proud to collaborate with Sam’s Photography ADK, a fantastic local business helping us bring extra holiday cheer to our party this year.

But the fun doesn’t stop there. Little hands will be busy in a merry holiday workshop where children can create handmade gifts for parents, grandparents, or anyone special. Thoughtful, personalized presents made with love are part of the holiday magic! "The best of all gifts around any Christmas tree is the presence of a happy family all wrapped up in each other." - A Christmas Carol

And then… the cookies. Oh yes, the cookies! Kids can decorate sugar cookies with frosting, sprinkles, and all the festive toppings they can imagine. Some cookies are devoured right away, while others make it home as sweet holiday surprises.

All afternoon, Christmas music will fill the air. Sing along, tap your toes, or let the kids start a mini dance party! Either way, it’s all part of the festive fun! As Buddy the Elf would say "The best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear."

The best part? This free event is open to everyone. Bring the whole family, invite your neighbors, and get ready to celebrate the season with laughter, creativity, and holiday magic. I triple-dog-dare ya! - Schwartz
