This April, the Elizabethtown Social Center continues a 20-year tradition of bringing North Country residents to Broadway musical theater shows in New York City and the historic Proctors Theater in Schenectady. On Saturday, November 1, the Deer's Head Inn and Elizabethtown Social Center are partnering on a Novemberfest - a live music fundraiser to buy a van for the Social Center's free afterschool Teen Rec program. The Deer's Head has generously offered to split proceeds from the event with the Social Center! Did you know? A very big thank you to Northwaters Canoe Camp for the loan of a canoe trailer for our Teen Rec trip to Lincoln Pond last weekend. The teens had a great time. It may be only August, but the holiday season is just a few months away, and the Pleasant Valley Chorale is getting ready to celebrate with music! This year’s program theme is winter songs along with a few favorite holiday tunes to warm hearts and lift spirits. We are welcoming past & new members to join the Chorale. The Pleasant Valley Chorale is a fun group with over 30 members from all around the region. This fall there will be 12 rehearsals starting September 23rd.
